Prepare yourself for something utterly baffling and brilliant… as Jude Law portrays the youngest Pope we’ve ever known in Paolo Sorrentino‘s upcoming Sky Atlantic miniseries.
The Young Pope is created and directed by Sorrentino and follows Lenny Belardo (Jude Law) as he begins his rule over the Catholic Church. This is one of the most fascinating trailers I’ve seen for a series and although appears on the surface to be utterly unusual, this also already makes it a compelling watch when it airs.
Controversial? It has to be but with a co-starring cast of Diane Keaton, Scott Shepherd, Silvio Orlando, Cécile de France and Javier Cámara this is sure to be a unique experience. Watch it below for yourself and let us know what you think.
The Young Pope is a Sky Original Production premiering 27th October exclusively on Sky Atlantic.
