Corin Hardy has a new project, ‘Hell Bent’ sounds insane

Interview with Corin Hardy for The Hallow

The Hallow, released last year, and directed by Corin Hardy has to be one of the best horror films of the last couple of decades. Heavily inspired by fairytales and folk lore the story tells of a couple and their baby who are terrorized by malevolent fairies. With The Hallow Hardy managed to craft a haunting, atmospheric and really rather emotional film. Seriously folks if you haven’t seen it we highly recommend it. Given how well the movie turned out we were over the moon to learn that he was involved in the reboot of The Crow. However our happiness was soon taken away when the deal fell through amidst a studio shakeup. You can’t keep a good man down though and Hardy already has a new project to sink his teeth into.

Hardy has been courted by Paramount to direct their latest action offering Hell Bent. The plot sounds all kinds of insane and definitely has our attention, here’s the synopsis:

A group of mercenaries imprisoned in a Brazilian jail are murdered and led into the depths of hell by a priest who wishes to use their skills to kill Satan before he brings hell to Earth.

The film is being eyed as a potential franchise starter with casting currently underway.
