Who are there didn’t love James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy? The film added a much needed injection of heart into the Marvel franchise and though on paper shouldn’t have worked, captured the imagination of us all.
In an exceptionally bold move the studio green-lit a sequel before Guardians of the Galaxy had even been officially released. We’ve been dying to see the sequel since walking out of the press screening and now we are finally getting closer to that day as filming has begun on Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.
Earlier James Gunn, who will return for the sequel, shared the news that principal was finally underway. He also confirmed that that Kurt Russell casting rumour, wasn’t a rumour. Yes Mr Snake Plissken will be joining Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 will arrive in cinemas 5th May 2017. Just over a year to go folks.
