Will Smith has revealed in a new interview on BBC 1Xtra that he will and co-star Martin Lawrence will definitely be in Bad Boys 3. The news comes after there were suggestions that the duo may not feature in the two planned sequels.
Speaking with the UK radio station ahead of the release of his new film Concussion on Friday, Smith said:
“I saw Martin a few weeks ago,”
“I haven’t seen him for about two years. We just looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one.”
Things have been a little quiet on the Bad Boys sequel front, and it hasn’t yet been confirmed if director Michael Bay will return for more carnage. The third film does have a 2017 release date set, and Bad Boys 4 is due in 2017. With Bay about to set about a fifth and final (for him) Transformers film, we doubt he’ll return, but in all honesty, we kinda hope he does. Bay is best when he’s causing Bayhem with Smith and Lawrence. Right?
More news as we get it.
