xXx3 is said to be set to start filming in December.
xXx3: Vin Diesel reveals that the revival of his other action franchise will kick off shooting in December.
Action star Vin Diesel has announced to the world via his Instagram account that xXx 3 will start shooting in the Phillipines in December.
The film will be the second sequel to xXx, which was released back in 2002, and the Diesel-less sequel xXx: State Of The Union (aka xXx2: The Next Level in the UK), which hit screens with Ice Cube starring in 2005. The new movie, which is rumoured to be titled xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, and will hit cinemas in 2017.
Both of the previous films starred Samuel L. Jackson as Agent Gibbons, an NSA chief who recruits Xander “XXX” Cage, notorious for his death-defying public stunts, to become a different kind of undercover agent. Asia Argento and Marton Csokas also appeared in the first movie, which was written by Rich Wilkes.
No word as to whether Jackson or Cube will be back for the new adventure, which is written by John D. Brancato (Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines) and Michael Ferris (The Game).

Xander Cage is left for dead after an incident, though he secretly returns to action for a new, tough assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons.
