Jeff Daniels has just signed on for THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEIGIANT and as with all great film series of the day, THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT will be split in two. Daniels, star of DUMB & DUMBER, SPEED, and TV sensation The Newsroom, will be taking on the role of the main antagonist, David.
The film will continue the adventures of Shailene Woodley’s Tris, a girl in a world in which the inhabitants must choose which faction they belong to, while under the thumb of an oppressive government. I won’t give away anything from this year’s THE DIVERGENT SERIES: INSURGENT, other than the ending left us wanting more, and certainly switched things up a bit.
THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEIGIANT PART 1 will be released 18th March 2016, with Part 2 following on 24th March 2017.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
