If the approaching arrival of Christmas wasn’t enough to get you excited, then how about an early treat in the form of a trailer for one of next years biggest releases? STAR WARS EPISODE VII: THE FORCE AWAKENS is the first part of a new trilogy after Disney bought the rights to the franchise. Directed by J.J. Abrams, it will follow old and new characters alike, as the Star Wars saga continues. We’re not sure what footage will be released just yet, but you can bet it will be tantalising given Abrams’ track record of fantastic teasers. Star Wars announced the release of the trailer via Twitter, perhaps in an attempt to keep shoppers from destroying themselves at Black Friday events. The trailer will be released online, but also shown in select US theatres. These theatres (listed below) will screen the trailer in front of every single film they show over the weekend.

I never hated the prequels as much as others seemed to, in fact, I genuinely like them. Star Wars has so much to give in the cinematic world, as the Expanded Universe novels prove. Hopefully STAR WARS EPISODE VII: THE FORCE AWAKENS will be another classic in line with the original trilogy.
