Christian Bale will definitely be playing late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs in Sony’s upcoming biopic.
Screenwriter, Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, THE SOCIAL NETWORK) revealed that Bale is first choice for the role.
Sorkin is a master of rapid dialogue. He cut his teeth in theatre, penning the stage play A Few Good Men, which he later adapted into the smash movie of the same name, starring Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise and Demi Moore.
The project should be in safe hands with Sorkin. His adaptation of Mark Zuckerberg’s story (from the book by Ben Mezrich) won a plethora of awards and nominations, as well as critical praise. This time, he’s working with Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography about Jobs.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets.
