Third time looks to be a charm for the guys from NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: SECRET OF THE TOMB, as our favourite museum exhibits come to life, only this time they’re arriving in London. Ben Stiller reprises his role as the hapless security guard, but this time it’s revealed that the magic that brings the exhibits to life is slowly running out of juice. Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan, and Owen Wilson all reprise their roles, the majority of whom are bonkers renditions of people from throughout history.
The first two films were both enjoyable, even if they did offer little past a few laughs. This entry seems to be much of the same, with the trailer offering a number of genuine laughs. It’s also nice to see some of London’s landmarks come to life, but we do worry the culture clash humour may be a tad too obvious, although we did love Lancelot’s introduction to US President Roosevelt.
