Marvel are about to take us on an intergalactic adventure with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The film sees a group of mercenaries join forces to stop evil, and that group includes the likes of a big tree and a talking raccoon. Now we can take look at some of the supporting, and more humanoid characters, including Michael Rooker’s Yondu, John C. Reilly as Corpsman Dey and Glenn Close as Nova Prime. Marvel fans will also notice members of the Nova Corps in the background, which could hint at a future film for superhero Nova. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is Marvel’s gamble for this Phase, as the take a sci-fi heavy lesser known series and attempt to start another franchise.
We also have two new extended TV spots which add in a bit more character motivation as well as showing off some great delivery from Dave Bautista. It’s looking very good indeed.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is released in the UK on 31st July and in the US on 1st August. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Lee Pace, Glenn Close, Michael Rooker, Olivia Lovibond, Djimon Hounsou, and John C. Reilly.
