With so many crappy sequels released these days, and some of them doing phenomenal box-office this very week, it’s great to see some genuine fun loving nonsense also getting a second go around. The ridiculousness that was SHARKNADO became a bit of a hit due to its hilariously “inventive” title and the fact the film actually delivered on what it promised to deliver. Now we have the wonderfully titled SHARKNADO: THE SECOND ONE, in which the latest in weather phenomenon is about to take a chunk out of the Big Apple.
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return to once again do battle and they are joined by Ethan Hawke lookalike and Sugar Ray frontman, Mark McGrath. The acting seems to be just as brilliant as it was in the last one and this clip shows that they haven’t skimped on the drama either, as Ziering has issue with his best friend dating his sister. And I thought it would be all shark and no heart.
SHARKNADO: THE SECOND ONE premieres on SyFy on 30th July in the US at 9/8c PM with the UK premiere is not long after on SyFy on 31st July in the early hours, straight after the US premiere. In fact, the film will show in 86 countries worldwide within a 24 hour period.
