DINOSAUR 13 is a new documentary from Todd Miller about paleontologist Pete Larson and his team unearthing the world’s largest and most complete T-Rex. This documentary follows the 1990 discovery and the subsequent confiscation of the skeleton by the government.
From the trailer, this looks to be a gripping and inspiring documentary that raises many political questions. The team are not only fighting to keep “Sue“, their T-Rex, but also their freedom when Larson is imprisoned for 18 months.
It received praise when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year with it raising plenty of questions in regards to “dinosaur hunting” and who has rights over the other. I can see it being a documentary that stays with you, so check out the trailer and let us know what you think:
