Hot off the press, after all four character TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES posters have shown themselves, is the first full trailer for the upcoming film and our first thoughts? It looks like a lot of stupid summer fun, we love that – right?!
Happily they’ve still got that slightly silly vibe still going on and although Shredder looks a little THE WOLVERINE samurai, Splinter sounds like you’d hope – in a quick look – and the rest are as you’d expect. There’s a few cliches thrown around but it looks like a good-old fashioned big screen romp to get involved with. Oh, and also more of intriguing pairing of Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick and Megan Fox as April O’Neil.
Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil and her cameraman Vernon Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
Now enough talking and wanting to use the word ‘radical‘ badly, check it out below:
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES stars William Fichtner, Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett, and Danny Woodburn. It opens in North America on August 8th but not until October 17th in the UK.
