Back in the summer of 2011, a British comedy movie named THE INBETWEENERS, a spin-off from the E4 TV show of the same name, managed to squeeze over £57 million from the box-office. I will repeat that, just in case you read that too quickly – £57 million, and that’s from a budget somewhere in the region of just £3.5 million. The runaway success of the comedy almost immediately secured a sequel, but it has taken three years for the further adventures of Will McKenzie, Simon Cooper, Jay Cartwright, and Neil Sutherland to come to our screens.
This August, the boys are back, and this time they’ve headed Down Under for further naughty adventures in their quest for some quality clunge.
THE INBETWEENERS 2 stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison, and hits cinemas on the 6th August. We’ve managed to bag the first teaser trailer, which you can see using the player below.
