T.J. Miller, who you might know from CLOVERFIELD and GET HIM TO THE GREEK and will know from the upcoming HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 as well as TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, has been confirmed as the first voice actor for BIG HERO 6. Miller will be voicing a a superhero-in-training named Fred, who is also referred to as ‘Fredzilla‘ as he’s able to turn into a Godzilla-esque creature.

The first official team-up between Disney and Marvel will be hitting the cinemas later this year (for some of us). It takes the form of an animated tale in which a robotics prodigy joins forces with a surprising team of fight-time crime fighters to save their city and is based on a Marvel comic of the same name. If you’d like to know more about BIG HERO 6, take a look at an article we published early last year!

Miller confirmed the casting via twitter before promptly deleting the tweet, so we can assume the studio are waiting to release a flurry of info about casting choices fairly soon.

BIG HERO 6 is directed by WINNIE THE POOH’s Don Hall and BOLT’s Chris Williams. It will be released in the USA. on 7th November, 2014, whilst UK cinemas will have to wait a while, namely until February 13th, 2015.
