US Trailer For ‘Nymphomaniac Vol II’

The second part of controversial master Lars Von Trier’s epic exploration of sexuality, NYMPHOMANIAC VOL II, is set to arrive in the US on VOD platforms on March 20th. The first instalment is already available and will also be hitting limited theatres on March 21st. The second part will arrive in theatres in April. The trailer shows the further adventures of Charlotte Gainsbourg’s sex addict character who finds herself journeying through the darker parts of a violent and sexual world. The two parts together explore Joe’s (Gainsbourg) life from a young age up to the age of 50 with this second part looking set to explore the later years of her life.

The films were released in the UK back in February and they were quite the excellent slices of dark art house cinema when taken together make up a brutal but beautiful 4 hours.

NYMPHOMANIAC VOL II is released on VOD in the US on 20th March with a cinema release in April. VOL I is already available on VOD and will have a cinema release on 21st March. It stars Charlotte Gainsbourg,  Stellan Skarsgard, Stacy Martin, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Shia LaBeouf, Willem Dafoe, Udo Kier, and Connie Nielson.
