The original SWINGERS, if you don’t include those crooners from back in the day, Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn will soon be on screen together again for TERM LIFE. Having already started production, Favreau is joining the party a little late, which makes sense as he has THE JUNGLE BOOK to prep for Disney as well as his own directorial project, CHEF, to promote.
Vaughn stars as a heist planner who sells his ideas to the highest bidder. As you can imagine, one of his well planend heists goes wrong and he becomes the target of the buyer. Vaughn takes his daughter (Hailee Steinfeld) on the run, but must survive the next 21 days so his life insurance can take effect.
Favreau and Vaughn starred together in SWINGERS, MADE, FOUR CHRISTMASES, THE BREAK-UP and COUPLES RETREAT. The latter being directed by Peter Billingsley who is best known as the child star of A CHRISTMAS STORY. Billingsley has also worked with the duo a number of times, having roles in Jon Favreau’s IRON MAN and ELF, as well as taking roles in THE BREAK-UP and FOUR CHRISTMASES. The trio obviously love working together.
