As the release date edges ever closer, the promotional machine for Kickstarter-funded movie VERONICA MARS has kicked up a gear. Earlier today we brought you twenty – that’s right, twenty – new stills. Now comes the first two minutes of the film via IGN’s YouTube page.
The film sees actress Kristen Bell reprise the role that helped put her on the map. The story follows Veronica, who is determined to leave the town of Neptune behind, and has thrown herself into a career as a high-class lawyer. Thanks to being faced with her past during a high-school reunion, Mars finds herself drawn back to her old life, as ex-beau Logan finds himself on the wrong side of the law.
Spoiler avoiders shouldn’t worry too much as the opening scene plays more like a ‘previously on Veronica Mars’, bringing people up-to-date with the two television runs of the cancelled show. Check out the clip below:
VERONICA MARS is released in selected cinemas in the US and UK from 14th March. For information on UK sites showing the film click here.
