AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is currently shooting in South Africa, and when films are shot on location in vastly populated areas, you can be damn sure a thoughtful member of the public is going to share the experience with the rest of us. In this short footage, we get to see and hear lots of running and screaming, just before a truck seems to explode. I say “seems to”, as there is no fire, but the back of the truck certainly gets ripped open. Had it been an X-MEN film, I would assume it was Magneto’s doing, but obviously some effects are going to be added.
The second video also suggests that it will be the Hulk’s doing, as a pair of men twizzle round with a bust of The Hulk. Could it be that The Hulk has lost all control once again? Or is he protecting people from something? We’ll see in time, and hopefully not all the cinematic surprises will be ruined before then.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is released on 1st May 2015. It stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, and Thomas Kretschmann.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
