One of the best comedies of a couple of years ago was the superb PITCH PERFECT, a movie which mixed BRIDESMAIDS with Glee, with a bit of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL thrown in, and in 2015 we’ll get a sequel, which is, quite frankly, bloody fantastic news. The film is also the directorial debut of one of its stars, Elizabeth Banks. We already know that Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will return for PITCH PERFECT 2, and news reaches us today that another Barden Bella will be coming back for some acapella action.
Britany Snow (pictured top right in the original movie), will return as Chloe for the film, which has a US released date of 15th May, 2015. Kay Cannon, who wrote the original, will return for the sequel as well.
PITCH PERFECT made a whopping $115 million worldwide from a $17 million budget, and its soundtrack is currently the 18th best-selling of all time. It’s that good, and here’s why.
