Sweeping New Poster & Spots For Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

Perhaps not one for the poor souls of Somerset here in the UK but there are only a couple more months left before the floods arrive in visionary writer/director Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical epic NOAH. The film will depict the iconic religious story when our beloved Lord decided to cleanse the world of sin (Travis Bickle tried the same for New York in the 1970s) by sending a crushing wave to wipe Earth’s population so he could start again. Leaving one man and his family to save nature and repopulate to planet – and shockingly prove God obviously didn’t have a problem with incest. Right?

Moving on from my controversial theories, we’ve a brand new poster and a couple of international television spots from the big-budget adventure set for US cinemas from 28th March and the UK 4th April.

Aronofsky’s NOAH, which he co-wrote alongside Ari Handel and John Logan, stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Nick Nolte and Anthony Hopkins.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
