Are you ready for some more addictive TV? The Roman Polanski cult film ROSEMARY’S BABY is set to be transformed into an NBC mini-series, with Zoe Saldana starring as the lead charater of Rosemary Woodhouse. Her husband Guy will be played by Suits star Patrick J. Adams, while the character of Roman Castevet, their next-door neighbour, will be brought to life by Jason Isaacs (well known for his role as Death Eater Lucius Malfoy in the HARRY POTTER franchise).
Although now relocated to Paris, the plot has pretty much stayed the same. Young wife Rosemary moves into a Parisian apartment with her husband Guy and shortly afterwards falls pregnant. Which should be a joyous occasion, right? Well not for Rosemary, as she becomes increasingly suspicious of her mysterious neighbours and her husband, both of whom she is sure have dark and ulterior motives for her future child.
The mini-series will be directed by Oscar and Emmy Award nominee Agnieszka Holland and if the original story was not spooky enough, it will get an extra chiller effect by screenplay writers Scott Abbott and James Wong (American Horror Story).
