Not much is known about BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY or it’s writer director duo Geoff Moore & David Posamentier apart from the loose plot details (A straight-laced pharmacist’s uneventful life spirals out of control when he starts an affair with a trophy wife customer who takes him on a joyride involving sex, drugs and possibly murder) and the fact that it has been in development for years and has had to change its two lead actors (Jeremy Renner & Jennifer Garner were both replaced by Sam Rockwell & Olivia Wilde). Now it has a poster and…well…to be honest, it’s not that great. Plus points for the chemistry theme, but what the hell is happening with the sort of stock photo faces of the actors? I still have hopes for this one. I think it’s a great cast (the film is also starring Michelle Monaghan & Ray Liotta) and the premise could be a good one if handled right. We’ll know more once the trailer hits.
