Following last night’s late reporting of Olga Kurylenko being asked to screen-test for a lead female role (thought to be Wonder Women) in Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL sequel, more possible details are being being revealed. We’re hearing the character of Dick Grayson (aka Robin to most of us) is expected to feature somewhere in the plot for the film pitting/teaming Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne with Henry Cavill’s high-flying Kal-El. However, the Caped Crusader’s sidekick is expected to use the later comic-book moniker of Nightwing.
Again, these are all just rumours at the moment and I doubt we’ll have anything concrete until well into the new year. Still, things look to be getting a little crowded should all these rumours become a reality.
Would you bring Nightwing into a franchise this early on? Is Chris O’Donnell still working?

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
