HARRY POTTER’s villainous Lucius Malfoy, Jason Isaacs, has joined the impressive ensemble cast of David Ayer’s FURY. Starring Brad Pitt as Wardaddy, he and a group of soldiers find themselves behind enemy lines along with their tank. Isaacs will reportedly play a captain whom Wardaddy turns to in a time of need. Isaacs has always been an actor to stand out in his roles, and I still remember seeing him in the cinema for the first time back in 1997 when DRAGONHEART came out.
For Ayer, who is writing and directing, this will be his first foray into the war genre since 2001’s U-571. Since then, his films have revolved around cops and criminals with both his directorial efforts; STREET KINGS, END OF WATCH, and HARSH TIMES as well as the films he scripted; THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, TRAINING DAY, DARK BLUE, and S.W.A.T. I’ve absolutely loved some of Ayer’s work, especially S.W.A.T. and TRAINING DAY, so seeing him branching out into a genre he has left alone for over a decade could be very exciting.
FURY is set for a US release on 14th November 2014. It stars Brad Pitt, Michael Pena, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Jon Bernthal, and Jason Isaacs.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
