Despite the acclaimed Dr Seuss animated comedy, HORTON HEARS A WHO, director Jimmy Hayward should know all about turkeys given that his first live-action effort was the truly awful JONAH HEX. Hayward is back in the genre that made his name. FREE BIRDS features the voices of Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson as two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history. Their aim: get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good!
