The first posters and still has arrived for writer/director Richard Shepard’s revenge-driven crime comedy DOM HEMINGWAY. The film will have its première at the Toronto International Film Festival next month and stars Jude Law as a recently released former safe-cracker, determined to seek out what he’s owed. That is until a near-death experience leads him to re-connect with his estranged daughter (played by GAME OF THRONES stunner Emilia Clarke).
Jude Law plays DOM HEMINGWAY, a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is funny, profane, and dangerous. After twelve years in prison, he sets off with his partner in crime Dickie (Richard E. Grant) looking to collect what he’s owed for keeping his mouth shut and protecting his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Bichir). After a near death experience, Dom tries to re-connect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke), but is soon drawn back into the only world he knows, looking to settle the ultimate debt.
DOM HEMINGWAY is released in the UK 8th November and the US 4th April 2014. It co-stars Richard E. Grant, Kerry Condon, Demián Bichir and Jumayn Hunter.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
