Earlier in the week, we brought you the first set of stills from The Weinstein Company’s adaptation of Richelle Mead’s Young Adult novel series, VAMPIRE ACADEMY. We now bring you the first look at footage from the film directed by MEAN GIRLS’ Mark Waters with the first trailer!
The film stars rising beauty Zoey Deutch as Rose Hathaway, a Dhampir – half human/vampire, also known as the peaceful guardians of the Moroi. She is one of many mortal vampires living discretely within our world. However, her legacy is to protect her kind from bloodthirsty, vicious immortal Vampires called Strigoi and to do so she enrols in the VAMPIRE ACADEMY.
VAMPIRE ACADEMY is released in cinemas 14th February 2014 and co-stars Lucy Fry, Danila Kozlovsky, Gabriel Byrne, Sarah Hyland, Joely Richardson, Cameron Monaghan, Sami Gayle, Claire Foy and Ashley Charles.
