Over the next ten months, fans of 20th Century Fox’s X-MEN franchise will see both spin-off sequel THE WOLVERINE (released 26th July) and pre/sequel X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (set for 23rd May 2014) quench their mutant thirst. However, Fox have, in the last 24 hours, registered the mystery website domain entitled, X-ForceMovie.com, to much geek excitement.
While there is not yet any official confirmation on the details, it’s expected the studio is going to expand their evolutionary universe and announce to the world at next weeks Comic Con, plans for Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld’s ‘more aggressive’ bunch of superheroes – known as the X-FORCE – to receive the big-screen treatment.
Created at Marvel by the duo in the early 1990s, the original team consisted of names like Cable, Cannonball, Domino, Warpath, and Deadpool, while later additions included Wolverine, Psylocke, Sunspot, and Colossus. Would you like this to happen or have you had your fill of X-bollocks? As ever, we’d love to know… Then again, perhaps a more adult version could reignite your mutant passion with an all new series of characters. Ballsack – a man able to pull his scrotum over his head for protection. Hepatitis – one touch from this lady and you’ll be scratching for months. Rubber Johnny & Mr. Fister – well, you get the point.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

surely a triology. that will allow x-force to do the same as avengers and play with various actors in a massive saga. x-force is a great choice cause there are so many fun characters to play around with instead of making charcters just for a movie

The original team did not include Deadpool. He was an antagonist.

“The original team consisted of names like Deadpool” ? This is why I don’t want a X-Force Movie :-/
Or any Hollywood X-Men for that matter, it always end with crowbarded characters into any franchise whether they belong or not.
