An Italian trailer, poster and first set of stills have surfaced from the forthcoming horror, OPEN GRAVE. The film is directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego, who’s last big-screen effort was the much-maligned but surprisingly original found-footage thriller, APOLLO 18. DISTRICT 9 and THE A-TEAM’s Sharlto Copley, soon to be seen in the upcoming OLDBOY remake and Neill Blomkamp-sci-fier ELYSIUM, leads one of six people wake up with in a remote forest surrounded by rotting corpses. They’ve with no memory of how they got there and must piece together the mysterious and grisly set of circumstances that brought them together before it’s too late.
Thomas Kretschmann, Josie Ho, Joseph Morgan, Erin Richards, and Max Wrottesley co-star in the film still awaiting release dates for both the UK and US.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
