Universal Pictures and producer Steven Spielberg initially targeted their blockbusting sequel JURASSIC PARK IV for a very rushed release in summer 2014. SAFTY NOT GUARANTEED director Colin Trevorrow was soon announced but many were skeptical they’re make that date. Perhaps wisely, the studio took a step back and decided not to rush into production and went on to postpone with many claiming that a full reboot was on the cards. Well, whatever is coming in the future it’s said to be huge with rumours early drafts of the script feature some jaw-dropping scenes and set-pieces, and that more time was definitely needed to realise and prepare them.
At a recent Licensing Expo, it’s been revealed that JURASSIC PARK VI will now hit theaters in 2015 instead. A shiny new banner for the film showcasing the new information and news that the it will also be shot in 3D. Does the lack of a number 4 or sub-title suggest this is indeed a reboot? Well, either way it’s bloody big dinosaurs back on the big-screen!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
