The biggest film of 2015 WILL be STAR WARS EPISODE VII, and I hope that it is the biggest film to feature at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, which THN are attending for the first time ever this year. I’m a big STAR WARS nut and was probably the most excited out of the entire website crew when news broke that JJ Abrams was to direct, all of the way back in January.
Well, by now, nearly five months on, you’ think that Abrams would have had time to speak with series creator George Lucas, right? No. Apparently not. Access Hollywood has the scoop with a quote from the big man himself.
“I have not spoken to J.J. He’s been busy with Star Trek, and I’m sure that he’ll let me know when he’s got some questions. So, you know, that’s all going well. Kathy tells me it’s working out great.”
Michael Arndt is writing the screenplay for the new movie, so I would think that he would be the one with all of the questions. STAR WARS EPISODE VII kicks off shooting in the UK next year.
