It looks like another Brit will be joining Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut HOW TO CATCH A MONSTER, as it was revealed today that Iain De Caestecker is taking on a lead role. De Caestecker will be playing Bones, the son of Christina Hendrick’s character, described as a ‘loner with an imagination‘ and is side to be a pivotal part to the storyline.
HOW TO CATCH A MONSTER, also written by Gosling, follows a single mother (Hendricks) as she is dragged into the a dark underworld. De Caestecker will also be joining Eva Mendez, Saoirse Ronan and DOCTOR WHO’s Matt Smith.
Ian De Caestecker might be very familiar to British TV fans, with roles in such shows as the BAFTA award winning THE FADES, YOUNG JAMES HERRIOT and CORONATION STREET. He has a foray of roles coming up, including FILTH and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. so it’s safe to say this guy won’t be going away anytime soon!
