Two Clips And Brand New TV Spots For ‘Man Of Steel’

Despite being under embargo, most early reviews (coming via tweets) from Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot have been extremely positive and heap praise on the cast and the director’s handling of the new superhero origin story. It’s going to take a lot to eclipse the beloved performance the late Christopher Reeve gave in Richard Donner’s 1978 blockbuster, as well as the troubled 1980 sequel (which Donner was replaced during filming with Richard Lester), but Henry Cavill might just have pulled it off.

The last few months has seen us bombarded with promo content from the all-star comic-book fantasy adventure and today is no different with the first two clips coming from US talk shows by Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen DeGeneres. We’ve also more television spots.

MAN OF STEEL co-stars Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix, Richard Schiff and Russell Crowe and arrives in cinemas from 14th June.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
