New Trailer Screeches In For Ron Howard’s ‘Rush’

Another new trailer has surfaced for Oscar-winning director Ron Howard’s fast-paced racing rivalry biopic, RUSH. The fact-based edge-of-your-seat thrill ride features Chris Hemsworth as the iconic British racing driver James Hunt, as the plot charts the true life sporting and personal relationship between the playboy-like Formula One legend and the Austrian Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl), during the 1976 racing season which almost claimed the latter’s life.

RUSH comes from a screenplay by the master of biopics and Howard’s previous FROST/NIXON collaborator Peter Morgan. It co-stars Olivia Wilde, Joséphine de La Baume, Natalie Dormer, Tom Wlaschiha and arrives in the UK on the 13th September and the US a week later.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
