We’ve just received this brand new trailer from Disney•Pixar for MONSTERS UNIVERSITY that’s set to rock cinemas this summer. Best of all, it’s been announced that not only Pixar-staple Randy Newman is back but added to the party is Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia PLUS they also tapped the Atlanta-based hard rock band Mastodon to serenade one the film’s new monsters.
Directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae, MONSTERS UNIVERSITY hits UK cinemas on July 12th, 2013. Another exciting thing is we get to see the short film THE BLUE UMBRELLA in full, so far we’ve only had these teasers for the short which features music by composer Jon Brion (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND) and vocals by Sarah Jaffe.
Check out the party trailer just below and click here for all our MU coverage so far, we can’t wait to see Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) & James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (John Goodman) back on the big screen!
