The ever-excellent Clark Gregg reprises his signature role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel Studios’ Phase One series of blockbusting superhero efforts for a hugely anticipated television series. Despite being supposedly killed on in Joss Whedon’s record-breaking THE AVENGERS, he’s back to lead a small, select group of skilled Agents from the worldwide peacekeeping organisation known as S.H.I.E.L.D. into the field. And who knows, maybe they’ll get the chance to shine as part of the bigger Phase Two and beyond.
Only today did we feature a bunch of new stills and a clip, not forgetting confirmation of the rough air date for the promising project which will screen on Tuesdays at 8pm in the US starting this autumn/fall on the ABC network.
Alongside Gregg, AGENTS OF SHIELD co-stars Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and Chloe Bennet. Check out this extended new trailer and clip giving us more impressive footage.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
