While it is still unconfirmed which character he’ll play, it’s expected he’ll take the role of ‘Uncle Jack’, a character who mentors his young street punk nephew Gary into the world of suave, international espionage. Vaughn’s frequent collaborator Jane Goldman has penned the screenplay. Shooting on the film is expected to begin in August, with the film slated to hit cinemas from 14th November 2014.

When asked if rumours linking him the film we’re correct, Firth teased:

Too early to talk about now, but it’ll be unlike anything I’ve done.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
