Flamboyant Australian director Baz Luhrmann is the man who’ll bring us another star-studded take on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novella, THE GREAT GATSBY. The film follows Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire), a Midwesterner now living on Long Island who becomes fascinated by the mysterious lavish lifestyle of his neighbour, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio). Carraway slowly becomes instigated into Gatsby’s circle of friends and bares witness to extravagance, love, obsession and tragedy
Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke, Gemma Ward and Adelaide Clemens make up the epic supporting cast and here we have a couple of stunning banners for the 3D spectacle hitting the US on the 10th May 2013, followed a week later in the UK.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
