With Marvel Studios boasting a smorgasbord of superheros in their back catalogue, they’re free to bring us some of their lesser known creations now that most their iconic characters have made the move to the big-screen. The upcoming IRON MAN 3, THOR: THE DARK WORLD, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY make up their ‘Phase II’ series of adventures, but ‘Phase III’ is still wide open after ANT-MAN makes his debut and not forgetting THE AVENGERS assembling once again.
It appears KICK-ASS 2’s Morris Chestnut could be in the running for a potential appearance as BLACK PANTHER. Could he cameo or even feature in his own solo movie? Chestnut has left fans with a rather intriguing tweet, which included a image of the comic below, saying:
It’s time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
