IRON MAN 3 is a little film that needs as much publicity as possible. In the interest of independent cinema, here’s the latest international poster which reduces Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) to a simple footer at the bottom. With the large haunting figures of best friend Rhodey (Don Cheadle), love interest Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and secondary villain Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), looming over Stark, it represents the pressure on our metallic suited protagonist. Shane Black takes over directorial duties in this first film in Marvel’s Phase II, which we teased earlier today with some concept art and set photos.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, and is co-written/directed by Shane Black . It’s released in the UK on the 26th April and in the US 3rd May.
