THIS IS THE END may just be the most fun you will have at a cinema this year. From the writers behind PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and SUPERBAD, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the film sees countless celebrities playing themselves as they attend a party at James Franco’s house. Unluckily for them, but luckily for the audience, the whole night turns into a horrific mess due to the unexpected arrival of the apocalypse. See a drunk Michael Cera hit on Rihanna before they both die in cruel ways. Other highlights include Emma Watson stealing from the principal cast of characters and a debate over a Milky Way.
WIth shows such as EPISODES and EXTRAS, I’m a fan of big stars playing exaggerated versions of themselves for laughs, but this seems to take it to a whole new level. The dialogue seems to be snappy, the situations absurd, and the cast are just having a lot of fun. See what you think!
THIS IS THE END is released 14th June in the US and 28th June in the UK. It stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, Michael Cera, Emma Watson, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari, Kevin Hart, Martin Starr, Rihanna, David Krumholtz, and Evan Goldberg.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
