One thing Twitter offers us obsessive film fans is constant updates from those in the movie biz on the sets of their latest blockbusters. Marc Webb continues to tease his THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, with an upload a day of spoiler free pics that generate a lot of discussion. Yesterday we saw the first picture of Colm Feore standing in front of the logo for the Ravencroft Institute For The Criminally Insane. Now we can take a look at the back of a security guard’s neck. It may not be much, but something that did catch my eye was the wear on the clips. It just goes to show the attention to detail from the costume designers. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN split viewers, with many seeing it as a needless reboot, The sequel seems to be following its own path and will hopefully allow it to step away from comparisons to Sam Raimi’s SPIDER-MAN trilogy.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be released in the UK on 18th April 2014 and in the US on 2nd May 2014. It is set to star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Chris Cooper, Colm Feore, and Shailene Woodley.
