We’ve already seen cake-frosting dynamite, Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), in his very own character poster earlier today, now it’s the turn of Liam Hemsworth’s little-seen hunk, Gale, the true love of HUNGER GAMES heroine Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence). While he didn’t feature strongly in Gary Ross’ franchise opener, based on Suzanne Collins’ young adult novel, expect a whole lot more Hemsworth in sequel, CATCHING FIRE.
CONSTANTINE and I AM LEGEND’s Francis Lawrence takes over directing duties who along with the aforementioned trio, brings back Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz and Donald Sutherland. The film, hitting cinemas 22nd November, will also see newcomers in the form of Jeffrey Wright, Amanda Plummer, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
