Popular show ENTOURAGE is all set for the big screen, after being officially green lit. The show, which ran from 2004-2011, follows actor Vinnie Chase and his experiences in Hollywood along with his closest friends, agents, and brother. The show was a huge success, and with a show focusing in and around Hollywood, it only makes sense that it be topped off with its own cinematic offering. The script, which was completed last September, will pick up 6 months after the end of the final season. The creator of the series, Doug Ellin, will direct the film and had these comments to say last year:
There are interesting developments about Ari (Jeremy Piven) as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.
Although deals are yet to be signed, the likes of Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, and Jerry Ferrara are expected to return.
