I don’t know about you guys out there, but us here at THN Towers are extremely excited about the direction of an almost ‘real world’ premise involving the superhero that’s faster than a speeding bullet – Superman. If anyone is capable of pulling off a fantastical, intergalactic origin story in such a setting, then producer Christopher Nolan is that man and visionary director Zack Snyder has already impressed with the dark, adult orientated super-powered ensemble, WATCHMEN
Snyder, in a recent interview, has given the strongest hint yet that Warner Bros. have made him acutely aware of the direction they want Clark Kent and his otherworldly alter-ego to venture into with MAN OF STEEL – and that’s to team up with other DC favourites and form the JLA!
I can’t really say anything, because that’s a big spoiler, [but] I will say, yeah, they trust me to keep them on course. I don’t know how ‘Justice League’ is going to be handled. But ‘Man of Steel’ exists, and Superman is in it. I don’t know how you’d move forward without acknowledging that.
MAN OF STEEL has an awesome cast that includes Henry Cavill (who has signed up for three films) as Kal-El, the son of Krypton and the saviour of Earth, alongside Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon and Laurence Fishburne. It flies into cinemas 14th June 2013. Check out the teaser trailers, for those that missed them, HERE

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
