To the untrained eye this just looks like Chris Pine on a motorbike. But we assure you, that’s only half the story. This is, in fact, Mr Pine playing Jack Ryan. On a motorbike. Sexy.
Chris Pine is the the latest star to take on the part of Ryan, the CIA analyst originally taken from Tom Clancy’s novels. Actors who played Ryan include Ben Affleck, Harrison Ford, and Alec Baldwin.
The new movie – simply titled JACK RYAN (clever that) – will be a prequel to previous films CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, THE SUM OF ALL FEARS, and THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. The film will see Ryan forced to go on the run after he’s framed in a terror plot.
Directed by Kenneth Brannagh and co-starring Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner, and Brannagh himself, THN is confident JACK RYAN will be a top-notch thriller. It arrives in cinemas December 2013.
