First Clip From New ‘Toy Story: Partysaurus Rex’ Short

Here’s the first clip for the new TOY STORY short TOY STORY: PARTYSAURUS REX that will find itself being played before FINDING NEMO 3D. It sees Rex the dinosaur helping out some bathtub toys because he has arms and they do not. I’m not the TOY STORY franchises biggest fan. I adore the first film but hate the second, the third film was pretty good but it still fell a bit flat for me. I grew up on THE CHRISTMAS TOY (1986) which is much more emotional and puppets trump CG every time. This latest clip looks annoying as hell. A bunch of loud characters and a musical number is more reminiscent of lesser animation studios.  And what the hell is up with that Whale with the tap up its behind coming out of its mouth? This will hopefully take a sick and twisted THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE route, but with toys.

FINDING NEMO 3D is released in the UK 29th March 2013, proving once again that the UK audience generally gets screwed over when it comes to animated release dates as the US will be getting this in September 2012.
