Though Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are set to duke it out politically in THE CAMPAIGN, playing North Carolina politicians Cam Brady and Marty Huggins, THN is sure who’d win the race for top US comic. Ferrell has proved time and again he’s the go-to man for consistent hits, applying his particular comedy formula to a variety of professions and moustaches, and knocking it out of the park almost every time.
Galifianakis, on the other hand, is yet to show us his best stuff. This is probably due to his unfortunate association with Todd Phillips’ sub-par THE HANGOVER. But he’s obviously got the comedy chops, and THN is hoping THE CAMPAIGN will give him a chance to shine – and who better than Will Ferrell to bounce off and banter?
Check out these new posters for THE CAMPAIGN, which pretty much say it all.
THE CAMPAIGN is directed by Jay Roach and co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Sarah Baker and Brian Cox. It arrives in UK cinemas 28th September.
