It was only last week that we brought you a brand new shot of Chloe Grace Moretz on the set of Kimberly Peirce’s remake of CARRIE. And it seems things may be hotting up during filming, as we have new shots of Gabriella Wilde starring as Carrie-sympathizer Sue Snell.
Any fans of the Stephen King novel (or the Brian De Palma 1976 film adaptation) know that Snell is a popular girl who is part of a gang who continuously torment outcast Carrie. However, Sue isn’t all that she seems as she actually pities Carrie and tries to right her wrongs by inviting her to their high school prom.
Gabriella Wilde (real name: Gabriella Zanna Vanessa Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe) has previously featured in ST TRINIAN’S 2: THE LEGEND OF FRITTON’S GOLD and has modeled for the likes of Abercromie and Fitch and Lacoste (makes sense really…). From the looks of the on-set pictures, Wilde really fits the part of the ‘typical cheerleader’, fitting the role of the popular high school girl perfectly. If you needed another reason to see the revamped version, Wilde may be your answer.
CARRIE, directed by Kimberly Peirce and co-starring Julianne Moore, Portia Doubleday, Judy Greer and Ansel Elgort, is currently filming.
